Mankind Deprived

Denials and rejections
Believe the corporate lie
Need authorization
Or else you die
A common misconception
Is we should privatize
Healthcare a deception
You lose your lives
pay up
A coverage lapse
Give up
Your doctor laughs
They don’t
Care how it feels
They’re all
In the same deal
If Health was their intention
Is this what they’d prescribe
An opioid addiction
Is just a bribe
The shortest term solution
To keep business alive
A never ending problem
But profits thrive
Appeals
Always denied
No hope
At least you tried
System
Of gambling lives
House rules
Mankind deprived

Preying for the Poor
02:42
|
|||
Damned if you do
Damned if you don’t
You die when you get treatment
You die when you won’t
You’ll pay for the rest of your
Miserable life
For the privilege of a chance
To go under the knife
Putting a stigma
on the junkies of your making
you’re the pusher
and the reason they’re taking
Pray, pray,
pray for what?
Your selfish acts
And budget cuts?
Praying for the poor
Preying on the poor
Who are you really
Praying for?
(X4)
You keep your wealth
For yourself
Keep your trophies
On the shelf
Humanitarian efforts
A facade of your intent
Bleeding dry the public
Without consent

The healthcare industry in its current state does not care about you or your health. If you are not profitable, you do not matter.
Your physician’s hands are in the pharmaceutical industry’s pockets;
the pharmaceutical industry as well as your insurance company’s hands are in the pockets of government employees;
this system was not built to benefit anyone other than those who profit from the suffering of others.
The largest corporations in the industry have absorbed any competition and partners to make things more “cost efficient.”
Cost efficiency means stripping benefits, dropping medications people need to survive from their formularies, and making it practically impossible for people who have their insurance to afford the medications the same companies also provide.
The solution always lies in prescribing and dispensing whichever medication the industry can benefit the most from providing, with no regard for how the patient can benefit or afford it.
These corporations are not here to save or improve lives, they exist for the sole purpose of keeping people alive just long enough to bleed their money out of them.
Every solution, a bandaid, on a wound that will never heal.

Death's Grasping Hand
03:17
|
|||
The reins of a
corporate government
have been fixed into
a noose around the throats of
those not powerful
those not profitable
those not acceptable
And guess where you land?
You’re worked to death
To save your life
Just to find
It never lasts
You’ve been trapped
Into a system
Realized
By death’s grasping hand
And every week
You’ve paid into a lie
Now, the help you seek
You wither and die
Only to be realized with death’s grasping hand

PILLS!
PILLS!
PILLS PILLS PILLS!
(X8)
You’re misdiagnosed
Kill the pain
But leave the bruise
Even when they’re exposed
Turn away the ones
They’ve made abuse
(PILLS! again)
You’re the quota they need
Investors are the ones
They want to prove
Always submitting to greed
Leaving you the options:
Die or move

Force-fed a pharmaceutical nightmare under the guise of a cure
Pay for protection
Here’s an exception
You’re the rejection
We forgot to mention
God forbid, you have a preexisting condition
Good luck in this financial decision
Research and development
Are more essential to our mission
