I originally recorded the first part of this as "Cynical Christmas Carols" back in 2007, but it didn't have real guitars so I never made it an actual Satan's Basement song. I was going to do an entire Christmas album, with "Satan's claws are pulling you down" but never finished writing more than a few lines of every song. So I just combined the best two and made this. I've been trying to get something like this going for over 6 years, but... this is it.
